About
Matthias Miller
I write a column for Shed Business Journal and I work as a technical CFO for manufacturers through my firm, CodeHaus.
Shed Titans is the part of that work aimed at the shed industry. The owners I work with are doing fine. Orders are coming in. They still can't say which number to believe.
A technical CFO works where the books meet the systems that feed them. Most of the money problems I find in a shed business start before anything reaches accounting: in the CRM, the pricing sheet, the work orders, the ad accounts. A report adds up whatever those systems feed it, so I check the systems.
My first shed client was in 2016, and I've been running paid discoveries for manufacturers, shed builders and contractors since 2022.
